Dear Lady. Ann:
A year or so ago this would have been a heart break filled letter sharing a story of how I became a single Mom but I think I’m ready to change my narrative. I’m a beautiful 32 year old Mommy to a beautiful 19 month old boy, my first baby, a pcos miracle pregnancy. I’ve always imagined a family environment with both Mommy and Daddy happily raising beautiful children, although this might not be with my son’s biological father, I still believe God can fulfill this lifelong prayer. I’ve overcome a lot having had faced and overcome rejection and now I’m ready to experience a new joyous season.
My request is for a loving husband who will be a leader in my home, a father to my son and be an incredible positive addition to our lives. I pray for a man sent by God who will add on to our joy and be great to both of us and hopefully I too can be an answer to his prayer. I know that not all things go as planned, I also know that God is still faithful and yes, even without a man, God is already a Father to my son and we are already complete with Him. I request this prayer hoping it is His will for us and certain that if it’s not, we will still continue to live our most beautiful version of life.
