My husband and I have been married for 4 years but we have been together for over 10 years. We both work very hard to live the life we have dreamed of all our lives, but I still try to pay attention to my husband. I try to be the perfect wife for him and be there for him. I thought things were going really well between us, but I think I might have been wrong.
A few weeks ago, my husband went on a business trip. We talked about this trip and when I asked him who he was traveling with, he said he was going alone, and I believed him. I have not had any reason to doubt him in the past, so why not, right? Two nights ago, I stumbled on the receipt from the hotel and saw that he had also paid for a massage for two. I got really curious and called the hotel pretending like I forgot something at the hotel (too desperate, I know). Well, I found out he was there with someone he claimed to be his wife while they were there. I damn sure wasn’t the wife he was referring to.
I got really upset and went through his phones and that’s where I saw his messages to his co-worker. The affair has been going on for months and she was thanking him for the memorable three days they spent together. I don’t know how to handle this. I feel betrayed, hurt and so angry. We have been together for over 10 years and I really thought everything was going on fine with us. Should I confront him or just walk away? I have invested too much into this marriage, would I be giving up too easy? Please help me Lady. Ann.
