I met my current girlfriend on a dating website. We have been going out for a while now and we really love each other. I enjoy being with her and she is the kind of woman I would love to start a family with. She is beautiful, hardworking and one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. As perfect as she is for me, I have been having doubts about our relationship.
In one of our transparent conversations, she told me she had sex with a lot of married men in the year before we met. She said she was sexually starved and it was just a phase for her. I did appreciate her honesty but ever since she shared that with me, I have been struggling in my mind. What kind of woman feels comfortable sleeping with married men? Shouldn’t that be a red flag for me?
Each time we have sex, I am constantly questioning myself: “did she have enough? Am I enough? Will she cheat on me to satisfy her sexual drive? Was she thinking of other men while we were having sex?” This might not be an issue for others, but I seem to have an issue with it. How can I get past this? I really love her, I just need to know how to not feel so insecure with a woman I really love.
