I have been happily married for 3 years and my husband and I have a daughter. Before my husband, my ex and I dated for 5 years and we both agreed it was time to end it. The relationship wasn’t heading anywhere, and it was just time to move on. Due to the length of our relationship, we have the same group of friends, hence why I see him a few times whenever we all get to hang out.
A year ago, he started dating a new girl and I met her a few times. I thought she was nice and I was rooting for their relationship. But things started getting creepy when I noticed she started wearing the same clothes I wear. She even goes to my hair stylist and does the same hairstyles I do. At first, it seemed like a coincidence, but it has been a year and she is still trying to be me. I feel disturbed by it and I can no longer stand it.
I don’t have a problem with her personally. My ex and I have a son together and she treats him well. But my friends are beginning to notice how much she tries to be like me. There were restaurants I loved and used to take my ex to, I now take my husband there and more often than not, she is there with my ex. She keeps trying to come into my circle and calling some of my friends. They know she just wants to be friends with them because of me and they avoid her calls. Its driving me nuts and I am thinking of talking to her. What do you think?
