Dear Lady. Ann:
I have been a Christian since age of 13, and I must say my life has not been the way it should have been especially as a Child of God. I have always wanted to get married but sadly it has not happened as yet. I am now 29, and for years I have been praying and asking God to just send me my man of God (husband) as often times dating & being in relationships with so called Christians & worldly men has only caused me nothing but heartaches & regrets. Currently I’m in a 4 years relationship & my bf’s respond to marriage has really turned me off. He always says I am rushing him, I want to follow the crowd & not being strategic – he states he is working hard to achieve & put things in place before. Which is good yes, but deep down why are we working hard for self achievements & not you & I achieving/ building together??
(PS. Since Covid-19 I’ve been unemployed unfortunately).
Right now I’m frustrated, confused & even angry at times. I do see persons around me who are Christians happily married & have found their man of God. But as for me I’m still stuck & struggling. I’m constantly praying & trusting God, He will give me a break through as I can’t continue to be living this way. Your advice, prayers & encouragement is needed please!! Thank you wholeheartedly.
