I recently started talking a lot with a friend of mine who had been an acquaintance I would say. But recently we got time and have been calling each other on phone everyday for hours. He is hilarious, we are compatible with each other, he is born again, we pray from the same Church. He asked me to pray for him so been praying for him ever since. Then he asked me if I include myself in the same prayers as I pray for him. I didn’t tell him yes or no because the truth is I do. In our conversations, he flirts a lot, and includes me in his future plans though I wouldn’t comment on them. Because I didn’t want him to think I want him that fast. So I would just tell him no comment sometimes. To take it slow. We get along really very well, haven’t connected with someone like this in a while.
But then recently, he promised to call me in like 40 minutes in the afternoon, it reached evening before he called. So I called him to check what was up and he said he had offered to cook so he would call later in the night instead. I was okay with it. It’s now been four days since, I tried calling him in the first two but he didn’t pick either. I don’t know why he just decided to go quiet when everything was okay. Today I sent him a verse of prayer and he replied hi dear and asked what’s up. We have not gone to chat a lot yet though, I would expect him to start with the reason why he just blacked out like that without reason. It made feel betrayed because I thought we really liked talking to each other and can tell each other anything. I am kind of scared to go all in when he comes back because I really like him. Pray for us to work out and even commit.
