Dear Lady. Ann:
My boyfriend and I have been dating for 3 years. We moved in together 18 months ago, or let’s just say he moved in with me. He was working, so that was fine with me. We split the bills and everything else. But then he lost his job just 4 months after moving in with me and this was the beginning of our problems.
His carelessness led to that loss, and I didn’t withhold that part from him. I guess I hurt his ego because he got so angry at me and said I wasn’t being supportive or encouraging. Well, I know I’m right because he doesn’t take so many things seriously in life. Now it has been over a year and he still hasn’t been able to hold down a job. He has too many excuses for these things, I can’t stand it. I’m a hard-working woman. I stay working. I can’t stand a man that is not willing to put in as much, if not more, work than I do. I’m tired of the relationship and I want out. I just don’t know how to end it because I’d literally have to kick him out. How do I end this thing?
#DLATribe, how can she end the relationship with her current boyfriend?
