Dear Lady. Ann:
Please keep my name anonymous. I am asking for prayer and advice. My fiancé and I have been separated for over a year. Throughout this time he ended up with someone and admitted to having sexual relations with the woman. He called it off and came back saying it was a mistake, he had no feelings for her, and kept bugging me until we talked. We talk on and off throughout the entire separation. We recently started talking again. He said we are not together because I would bring up the past in future arguments if we got together. I feel like I have let it go and only bring up the idea that I do not want him walking in my life to keep walking out because it hurts. I’m asking for advice and for prayer to have full healing of my past. Praying for God to guide me because I’m not sure how I can resolve the issue.
I explained to him that if he wants to be together, that’s great, he just has to acknowledge commitment and show it. I also told him if he doesn’t want to that’s fine, but for him to stop walking in and out of my life. His response was just okay. I asked him to explain his response and how he feels/what he wants. I have not gotten a response from him. Keep me in your prayers. tThank you!!
