Thank you so much for this platform. I have a question, can God ask you to offer up a seed for a prayer request for marriage. 3 years ago I started praying for my marriage seriously. I was invited to a prayer meeting where an invited guest was preaching. He prophesied about my marriage and indicated that I had to sow a seed to break the chain of singleness in my family. At first I was in doubt then I obliged and I organized for a meeting with this man through a Pastor from the church I had attended. I laid the seed and the man prayed for me. Days later the man started proclaiming that he was my husband. I immediately blocked him and went on with my life. This incident could have affected my response to what happened next.
Months later when I visited the same church one of the Pastors at my church was preaching at that church. Whilst she was prophesying I felt a move to give to that church. Specifically to give something valuable that I owned. I resisted the thought, the Pastor then reached out to me and said my child God has spoken to you, you need to help out in this church for the specific prayer request you have to be answered, she didn’t say what prayer request. After the meeting I had approached the church which is in a needy community to ask whether there are any children needing educational bursaries in that community and made a small donations. I have not identified any children as yet maybe it’s because I did not follow it up. I subsequently sold that valuable asset I felt inclined to give as I had to start a new life in a different place when things were not working out for me.
Things are still not working out for as I would want (jobless) and I am still unmarried. Please help, I am confused about these two events; can God ask for an offering or for one to seed for a specific prayer request and if so what do I do now that I have sold the particular thing I was supposed to give to that church.
