Dear Lady. Ann:
My boyfriend and I have been dating since I was 16. We were High school lovers. My family knows him and his family know me as well. We genuinely love each. Yes, we have had our tough times but everyone has that, so I’m good.
The problem is he proposed to me a month ago and I said yes. But I have been unsure about our engagement. We are both still so young and I am wondering if this is one big mistake. I don’t think I am ready to be a wife just yet, but everyone keeps saying “there ain’t nothing else out there, trust me”. I really do love my boyfriend, and I don’t know how he would react if I told him I wasn’t really ready for marriage. Would that be the end of our relationship? I don’t want it to be, but I fear so. Will I look back to regret telling him no? How did you know your husband was the one for you? SO many questions, but I’m just really confused. Help!
